Envi­ron­men­tal­ly com­pli­ant disposal 

Nowa­days, opti­mum was­te­wa­ter tre­at­ment is an important and unavo­ida­ble task for every indus­tri­al or com­mer­cial enter­pri­se, and also for every local aut­ho­ri­ty. Water is used in near­ly all manu­fac­tu­ring pro­ces­ses. The was­te­wa­ter gene­ra­ted ther­eby, in some cases sever­ely pol­lu­ted with harmful sub­s­tances, requi­res the cor­rect, pro­fes­sio­nal tre­at­ment befo­re the water, a pre­cious resour­ce, is rein­tro­du­ced into the envi­ron­men­tal cycle.

We are spe­cia­lists in phy­si­cal and che­mi­cal was­te­wa­ter tre­at­ment and have been a cer­ti­fied was­te dis­po­sal com­pa­ny sin­ce 2003. Thanks to mode­ra­te batch sizes, our plant is high­ly fle­xi­ble. Through this fle­xi­bi­li­ty and intel­li­gent pro­cess con­trol, we are also able to clean up pro­ble­ma­tic was­te­wa­ter. We don’t just deal with was­te­wa­ter – we tre­at it. We have deve­lo­ped opti­mum pro­ces­ses for num­e­rous operations:

• Neu­tra­li­sa­ti­on of aci­dic or alka­li­ne wastewater
• Eli­mi­na­ti­on of metals from wastewater
• Deto­xi­fi­ca­ti­on of was­te­wa­ter con­tai­ning cyanide
• Deto­xi­fi­ca­ti­on of was­te­wa­ter con­tai­ning chromate
• Sepa­ra­ti­on of oil-water mixtures
• Tre­at­ment of wash water con­tai­ning surfactants
• Spe­cial pro­ces­ses, tail­o­red to our cus­to­mers’ requirements

Was­te­wa­ter tre­at­ment faci­li­ty: the details

Based on our expe­ri­ence with our sys­tem in Öschel­bronn, we have desi­gned and pro­du­ced a new was­te­wa­ter tre­at­ment faci­li­ty in Mühl­acker. In doing so we ensu­red opti­mum ope­ra­ti­ons manage­ment with a high degree of auto­ma­ti­on, mea­ning that capa­ci­ty could be increased two- to three­fold com­pared with the old sys­tem. The new sys­tem comprises:

• 18 batch tre­at­ment tanks, each with a capa­ci­ty of around 12 m³. All the tre­at­ment approa­ches descri­bed abo­ve are pos­si­ble in all tanks
• Addi­tio­nal­ly with 3 batch tanks
  Oil rem­oval using skimmers
